The only thing worse than the heat wave that crippled New York City yesterday was Jason Derulo’s attempts at singing. The out of breath performer headlined the latest instalment of the Good Morning America Summer Concert Series and sounded worse than ever as he boiled with his fans in Central park.
Derulo kicked off his set with a shaky rendition of “In My Head” before butchering “Whatcha Say”, “It Girl” and “Ridin’ Solo”. He even performed the lead single from his upcoming Tattoo album, “The Other Side”, and although he stood in one spot for half of the song, he still couldn’t keep up with the music.
Some artists should just lip-sync and Derulo is certainly among them. On the bright side, he’s a really good dancer. Perhaps, he should get a job as a choreographer and Ciara with him. Watch Derulo on GMA below:
