Lady Gaga wants you and your favourite artist to know that she’s ready to do whatever it takes to make this latest era of her career a success. Further hyping her fans for the release of her upcoming single, which is reportedly entitled “Applause”, the phenomenon unveiled this new promo shot that launched the web into a frenzy.

“1ST SINGLE FROM ARTPOP COMES AUG.19 #24DAYS,” exclaimed Gaga about the song, which will impact iTunes on August 19. Of course, since she regularly talks about how art imitates life, this promo picture may be a clue of how the tune will sound – Electronica, perhaps?
