Ariana Grande sings a sweet tune.

Finally, an Ariana Grande song that doesn’t sound like a cheap knockoff of Mariah Carey’s greatest hits. To further build excitement for her Yours Truly album, which will arrive on September 3, the young songbird has released a preview of a new tune called “Piano” and it fits right in with the tween hits of today.

“For those of you who don’t know, every few days from now until my album release, I’ll be posting snippets of each song to introduce the album to you song by song,” stated Grande to her thousands of young Twitter followers. “Not posting them in any particular order or in the order of the track list but I decided to start with ["Piano"].”

Grande has already filmed the video for her second official Yours Truly single, “Baby I”, and it is expected to debut within the coming days. Listen to the preview of “Piano” below:
