Ashanti braces for an impending flop.

Poor Ashanti. Despite releasing several singles during the last year, the singer-songwriter has yet to score a hit and reports now indicate that her BraveHeart album has been delayed yet again. However, before she completely slips from relevance, she has released a new song called “I Got It”.

Featuring Future, “I Got It” appears on DJ Ty Boogie’s mixtape, STR8 RNB, Part 6. There is no word regarding if the tune will be added to BraveHeart but that doesn’t matter because we might never hear the album. Indeed, Urban Bridgez indicates that the record will arrive on August 20 instead of July 30.

Ashanti has yet to confirm if BraveHeart has been postponed the real question is: who cares? Without a single hit song to support the album, it’s painfully obvious that nobody is interested in what she’s selling. Listen to “I Got It” below as we grieve:
