When it rains on The Lava Lizard, it pours! Adding to the list of artists who have released new music during the last 24 hours is none other than the talented Dawn Richard with a snippet of her song “Meteors” from her highly anticipated BlackHeart album, due on October 7.

Written by Richard and produced by Hakan Ozkan, “Meteors” will be issued to iTunes in its entirety on July 15. From this 30-second preview of the track, we get the first taste of the unique singer’s every-evolving sound as she distorts her voice over a dark, pulsing beat.
