Britney Spears and her sons

There was a time when a new Britney Spears video was an event; people rushed home from school or paused the clock at work just to watch the megastar in action because she was simply that good. However, those days have long since passed and her productions have become so dull that they are hardly worth mentioning. For instance, “Ooh La La”.

Directed by Marc Klasfeld, “Ooh La La” was shot to support The Smurfs 2 soundtrack, so most of Spears’ fans weren’t expecting many fireworks. Yet, even with the bar set low, seeing her twirl and blush for the camera is nothing short of awkward and rather boring.

On the bright side, Spears’ sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston, seemed to enjoy being part of the “fun” as they cheered for their mother on the big screen. At least that makes two people who liked the “Ooh La La” video. I would say more but it’s just for a family film soundtrack, so let’s take the judgements too far.
