Bad press clearly has no effect on Mariah Carey. Following her lip-syncing fiasco at the 2013 BET Awards, the aloof songbird has surprised her fans by releasing a new video for the Spanglish remix of “#Beautiful”, “#Hermosa”, which features her partner in crime, Miguel.

Carey and Miguel filmed the video for “#Hermosa” off the coast of sunny Capri last month. This version of “#Beautiful” is one of four remixes that the former shared with her fans before performing another cut of the track with the assistance of Young Jeezy at the BET Awards.

There is still no word regarding when Carey will release The Art of Letting Go album to stores. However, given the public backlash against her during the last few days, she has much more important issues to address. You know, like proving she can still sing live.
