Ciara films “Sophomore” with a flashlight.

Well, you can’t blame a girl for trying. Shortly after the releasing a preview of her new “DUI” video, Ciara quickly followed with yet another clip, this time for the song “Sophomore”. Don’t worry, though, because these aren’t official singles. Rather, they are just buzz cuts for her upcoming Ciara album.

Although the timing of these videos are clearly ill-advised – it would be a much more effective move to issue one per day on VEVO immediately after it airs on television – Ciara should be commended for trying to save her plummeting project. Honestly, Ciara is due for release on July 9, which is almost a month after it leaked online, and only her fans care.
