Well, at least she isn’t waiting for a record deal to fall from the sky. Instead of sitting at home and counting emails from Simon Cowell with “I told you so” in the subject lines, Alexandra Burke is doing her best to relaunch her career and under the guidance of manager Kevin Liles, she has announced the release of a new EP.

As she continues to beg her way into the Roc Nation circle of super friends, Burke has titled her EP as New Rules and it will hit the web on August 29. The set will be available for free and available exclusively via Mail Online for 48 hours. Ticket information for live performances of the material is accessible on Stage It.
