The wheels on the Britney Spears comeback bus have officially started to round. Just hours after news broke that her long awaited new single would be released in a matter of weeks, the megastar unveiled a countdown to its set premiere date as well as the title of the track.
“All Eyes On Me” will hit the airwaves on September 16 as Spears’ first non-soundtrack single in two years. There is still no word regarding who wrote and produced the song but Spears has logged studio time with William Orbit (Madonna’s “Ray of Light”), Sia, will.i.am and Naughty Boy, the last of whom has high hopes for Spears’ new material and believes it will change Pop culture.
Spears’ previous album, Femme Fatale, has been certified platinum by the RIAA and generated three top ten hits on the Billboard Hot 100, including the #1 smash, “Hold it Against Me”. Now, we wait for her return to the charts and proof that she can still compete with her younger, more talented peers. All eyes are on Spears.
