Ciara whispers a few notes

We all know that Ciara doesn’t have a very powerful voice but at least with the aid of a microphone, she should be heard over, no matter how softly she tries to sing. Unfortunately, that was not the case at the CoverGirl MTV VMA party and her thin vocals were easily drowned out by her fans.

Ciara did her best to to wow the audience with renditions of “DUI” and “Body Party” but the patrons in the front row out-sang her at every turn. Ironically, the she encountered the same issue on the Billboard charts when her self-titled album just couldn’t compete and quickly slipped into oblivion.

Let’s just congratulate Ciara for promoting her music. She rarely does that these days and every little bit counts. Watch her CoverGirl set below:
