Consider yourself lucky if you were in the Chicago land area this weekend because Emeli Sande made her debut at the The 22nd annual Lollapalooza festival on Friday. After her set, the “Next to Me” singer sat down for an exclusive interview with Fuse to discuss her upcoming new EP and choosing “My Kind of Love” as her next US single.
Sande revealed fans wont have much longer to wait for new music. “I’ve been writing a lot and I’m working on an EP at the moment,” she said. “I just love creating so I’m excited to let it all come out again. I’ve been working with a lot of UK producers like Naughty Boy, who I worked on the album.”
She also announced collaborations with Wyclef Jean and UK band Rudimental for her upcoming EP, which will be the first follow-up to her critically acclaimed debut album Our Version of Events. Watch the Fuse interview below:
