Eminem announces his new album

Most people ignore the commercials that play between segments of their favourite shows but those of us who paid attention to the advertisements during the 2013 MTV VMA were treated with some great news. Eminem revealed the title and release date of his new album, which will hit stores later this year!

Eminem’s Marshall Mathers LP 2 was announced via an ad for Beats by Dre just moments ago. The record, which is the Hip-Hop icon’s first official release since Recovery in 2010, will arrive in stores on November 5 and will be preceded by the lead single, “Bezerk”, on August 27. Of course, this album gets his name from Eminem’s classic Marshall Mathers LP, so with that in mind, watch the video for “Stan (Dido)” off the latter below:
