Foxy Brown is still wearing coloured contacts from 1999

The last time Foxy Brown tried to make a comeback, she fell flat on her backside and became the object of ridicule yet again. This time, however, she finally managed to finish a live performance of her new song, “Bandz Up”, on MTV’s Rapfix Live without rolling in the deep off the stage.

Brown appeared to be her own hype man at the start of her “Bandz Up” rendition but eventually took centre stage and reminded us why she was once considered of the female Hip-Hop movement’s big four along with Lil Kim, Missy Elliott and Lauryn Hill. Really, if you ignore the dated coloured contact lenses, the matching outfit and the moments when she seemed confused, Brown took as back to the days when she was a true force.
