J Cole performs on ‘Conan’

J. Cole recently performed his latest single, “Crooked Smile”, with Jennifer Hudson at the 2013 Do Something! Awards but for his segment on Conan, he opted to hit the stage alone. Dressed in a simple white shirt and worn cap, Hip-Hop’s golden boy rapped with the backing of a live band.

As of last week, Cole’s Born Sinner album sold just over 543,000 copies in the US. Compare that figure to the 680,000 copies of his Cole World: The Sideline Story and it’s safe to say that Cole is well on his way to besting the dreaded sophomore slump.
