Katy Perry looks different without makeup…

Katy Perry has promised that this latest era of her career will depict her evolution as an artists and this teaser for her upcoming single, “Roar”, depicts exactly that. Featuring her signature feline friend, the clip shows her developing from a timid meow to a powerful – you guessed it – roar.

Fans will get the chance to download their copy of “Roar” when it is released to iTunes on August 12. The song’s parent album, Prism, will hit stores in the US on October 22. Whether a free cat or a box of kitty litter, which ironically smells similar to Perry’s Purr fragrance, will be given out with the music has yet to be announced.
