Katy Perry of the Jungle

Katy Perry previously shared previews of two new songs, “Walking on Air” and “Dark Horse”, to give her fans the opportunity to choose her next Prism single in collaboration with Pepsi and MTV. Now, she has revealed the winning track as well as a preview of her video for “Roar”.

“Dark Horse” will serve as the official second single from Prism and it will debut on September 17. The song will feature rapper Juicy J, thus increasing its chances of having a large impact on Rhythmic radio. Don’t expect an Urban takeover by Perry, though, because even Miley Cyrus couldn’t crack that market by spreading her backside.

Meanwhile, shortly after performing “Roar” at the 2013 MTV VMA last evening, Perry unveiled the first glimpse of its accompanying video. Imagine Tarzan meets George of the Jungle but with much more makeup. Watch it for yourself below:
