The frightening Lady Gaga

As Lady Gaga’s team worked vigorously throughout the night to have the leaked version of the song “Burqa” removed from the web, she took maters into her own hands to cover it up. Attempting to distract her excited fans, the superstar unveiled a new promo pic for her upcoming ARTPOP album.

The lead ARTPOP single, “Applause”, will be released on August 19 and performed by Gaga for the first time at the 2013 MTV VMA on August 25. The album will follow almost 3 months later on November 11. Judging by this frightening promo shot, ARTPOP will be yet another strange collection of odd Pop songs.
