The Hip-Hop King of Melodrama, Drake, just loves releasing music when people least expect it and in the early hours of this bright Thursday morning, he did exactly that. Drake’s new song, “All Me”, features 2 Chainz and Big Sean, and stands as the latest single from his upcoming album, Nothing Was the Same.
The lead offering from Nothing Was the Same, “Started From the Bottom”, peaked at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 has been certified platinum by the RIAA. Drake boasts the same message of rising to fame and glory on “All Me”, and credits his success to his own hard work. Hey, it must have been difficult for a biracial, upper-middle class rapper from Toronto to get credibility in the streets.
