Luke James is fighting to gain relevance

Is it just me or is Luke James’ career simply not moving forward? Instead of moving on to a new single to build buzz his Made to Love album, the singer’s team has opted to release a video for the Danja-produced “Oh God” from his Whispers in the Dark mixtape, which dropped since last year.

Made to Love will include contributions by Salaam Remi, John Legend, Claude Kelly and The Runners. However, James has yet to get the project off the ground and it appears that his camp lacks direction. Who demanded a video for a random mixtape track? Did you wake up this morning and say, “hey, I wish James makes a video for ‘Oh God’?”

Dear people at N.A.R.S. and Frank Gatson, please stop attaching James’ name to Beyonce because people will never take him seriously as a solo artist; only a an opening act. Focus your efforts by showcasing other songs on Made to Love – “I.O.U.” has failed to takeoff – announce a concrete due date and use social media to spread the word. Nobody cares about these random releases because frankly, he is still just a stranger.
