Toni Braxton and Babyface’s “Hurt You” single cover

Earlier this week, Toni Braxton and Babyface announced the title of their new song, “Hurt You”, and they followed the news today by revealing its release date. You won’t have to wait until the end of the year for the song, though, because it’s arrival is just days away!

“Hurt You” will premiere on August 19. The song is the official lead single from Braxton and Babyface’s highly anticipated duets album, Love, Marriage, Divorce, which is set to hit stores in the fall and serves as the former’s first new album since 2010’s Pulse.

“I think I’ve made the right decision to get back involved with songwriting and working with [Babyface],” Braxton explained. “I can’t be afraid anymore. I have to live life. It’s okay to fail as long as you try. So, I’m going to try.” Excuse me while I weep sweet tears of joy…
