It is no secret that R&B artists are still struggling to make an impact on the charts with few signs of improvement. However, is the quality of the music really the issue or is it simply poorly promoted? This is where Trini Trent TV comes in handy as I fire up my webcam and challenge acts, including Ciara, Ashanti and Kelly Rowland, to step up!

We previously discussed the steps for the proper promotion of R&B but I sense that the importance of choosing the correct singles, have timely releases, consistent approaches and the right exposure need to be reemphasised. Indeed, with several artists repeatedly dropping the ball, these points need to be stressed.
