By the grace of her finely tailored suit and the power of a clever manager, Janelle Monae has found away to battle those pesky album leaks. Instead of letting her fans find The Electric Lady in dark corners of the web, the unique singer has teamed with Vh1 to make the entire set available for streaming online.

The Electric Lady includes appearances by Miguel (“Primetime”), Erykah Badu (“Q.U.E.E.N.”) and Esperanza Spalding (“Dorothy Dandridge Eyes”). Yet, all of those guests seem dull when compared to the legendary Prince, who steals the show on “Givin’ Em What They Love”. This is not a corny over the top statement to generate hype: The song is amazing!
