Many of us assumed that Ariana Grande would have a clear shot at the top of the Billboard 200, but Tamar Braxton refuses to give up. In fact, “She” has engaged Grande in a tight race to the chart summit and sales predictions indicate that their album sales will be separated by just a few thousand copies.
Grande’s Yours Truly debut is on track to sell 110-115,000 copies within the next week, thus positioning her in the Billboard 200 top slot. However, Braxton’s Love & War is also projected to move an impressive figure. How many copies is she predicted to sell? 105-110,000, and that doesn’t include the amount that her husband, Vincent Herbert, is probably stocking in their closet.
Meanwhile, John Legend’s Love in the Future will also crack the top 10 of the Billboard 200. The record is expected to sell up to 55,000 copies, which is just a bit more than Jaheim’s Appreciation Day. The latter is on track to sell 40-45,000 units.
