Beyonce defies the odds yet again by holding the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 for a 2nd consecutive week with ’4′. However, the album fails to meet sales projections.
’4′ only sold 115k in the last 7 days, once again booking the pole position on the album tally. However, the record missed the 200k expectation for this week by a whopping 85k with a painful 63% dip in sales. To date, the LP has sold 425k units (almost 60k less than the 1st week figures of ‘I Am Sasha Fierce’).
Adele’s ’21′, on the other hand, continues to flourish at #2 by selling yet another 79k copies. The album has thus far sold 2.6 million units is remains the only LP to pass the 2 million mark in the US this year.
Lastly, Lloyd’s ‘King of Hearts’ enters the lineup at #10 with 26k sold, surpassing the initial sales predictions of 20k. He might be King of hearts but he is definitely not king of the charts.

Trent is clearly a bi polar imbecile. Was all the focus on decline really necessary? The woman has sold 420, 000 plus albums in 2 weeks on a heavily leaked album. Its a shame black people cant be more supportive of their own. And you wonder why you all fail.
LLLLOOOLLLL! This FLOP! Where the BeFLOP stans at? Where dem floppers at where dey at where dey where dey at? I want to hear the excuses!
How did I know this delusional bitch headed Rihanna Stan was gonna be here.. Congrats mrs Knowles
QUEEN RIHANNA’s Loud sol 142000 in week 2! BeFLOP has NOOOO stamina! I TOLD YOU FOOLS SO! LOL!
Poor BeYAWNce! She and Ciara could go cry together LOL!
@H yes I’m here but BeFLOP is on her way OUT! LOL!
@RihBaby seems like you didn’t remember that Loud’s second week was the week of black friday.. poor you
Yall not going tell me that BeyDaFlop and Rih(crack)Baby are not the same idiot person talking to himself or herself in the comment section.
@RihBaby
so that means Loud sold around 342k in its 2nd week, while 4 sold 425k in its 2nd week

Dead @RiBaby for even commenting on album sales.
But anyone who simply looks at the chart number is foolish. Unit numbers are everything. A number 1 in a unbusy week can get away with selling less than 100k and a number 3 during a competetive week can sell in excess of 200k
That’s pretty good the album is just about GOLD already
Prepare for further declines unless she gets a big hit and the cd stabilizes. This won’t sell close to wht IASF sold. I hate to say it but Rihanna and Katy Perry are the ‘it’ girls now and Gaga is in her own league doing crazy stuff.
It’s hardly supprising really, these sales are stans and people who enjoyed “Iam… Sasha Fierce” which was a successfull album, with her current singles flopping of course the album is going downhill and tbh i’m glad, it serves all the Bey stans right for runnin their mouth on Xtina when “Bionic” flopped and chattin all “Queen Bey would never flop” well who’s floppin now hoes???
*To the left to the left all unsold copies of “Who run the world (GIRLS)” in a box to the left*
“4″ is the Best hit Bey never had lol
So in Xtina’s case, where were her stans and the people who enjoyed “Back to Basics?” If that’s your argument, then Bionic should have sold far more.
The box of unsold copies of “Run the World” must be sitting next to the multiple boxes of unsold copies of “Not Myself Tonight” AND Bionic itself.
@ThatBoyLuke Beyonce isn’t flopping. In one week she outsold what Bionic did in a year. Beyonce is doing great. Albums are selling like they used to and she is one of the few black girls doing it big!
I’m sorry if 4 is being considered a flop based on these sales then LOUD is BEYOND a flop. And Bionic…we’re not even going to talk about that. We’re going to act like that never even happened.
We’ll talk when LOUD outsells IASF. Have a great day.

When was this album expected to move 200k? Those were not the expectations. 63 percent is decent compared to other peoples album declines. Her decline wasn’t that drastic.
Beyonce is not doing that badly when compared to her contemporaries. However, she would have performed much better if she had released a better lead single than ‘Run the world”
