US Charts: Jill Scott & Pitbull Reign At #1

Jill Scott is considered a music veteran by many but she has only just nabbed her 1st #1 album on the Billboard 200. The singer’s ‘The Light of the Sun’ shines at the peak of the chart this week while her extreme opposite, Pitbull, parties at the top of the Hot 100.

    damn i just see that kay perry has her 4th and 5th release top 10 and where is Beyonce! Shame she has 2 singles out and none are anywhere north of top 20

    FYI It’s not Jill’s 1st #1 album & why is Christina Aguilera’s name not in that #8 spot because she is on the hot 100 chart with Moves Like Jagger which debut @ number 8.

    @TinaSouthAfrica this IS Jill’s first #1! Her highest charting album before this one was Beautifully Human: Words and Sounds Vol. 2 which was #3.

    i like how this is a post about Jill Scott and yet some Katy Perry stan wants to talk about her…no one cares about her non singing ass. Jill provides REAL music…anyways, i’m happy for Jill, i’ve always loved her music. I wish her alot of success with this album
