Beyonce has been embroiled in a tumultuous scandal involving allegations that she stole several scenes of her ‘Countdown’ video from choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker’s ‘Rosas danst Rosas’ and ‘Achterland’ works. In fact, the singer was even forced to release a statement where she openly denied any theft and claimed that she was simply “inspired”.

Beyonce has never been known for her originality but her latest scandal has sparked a fresh wave of public indignation with her actions. Shortly after releasing the video for ‘Countdown’, Belgian choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker slammed the singer for copying several dance moves and even the wardrobe from her ‘Rosas danst Rosas’ and ‘Achterland’ works.
