March really will be a very busy month in the music industry! In addition to new releases from Melanie Fiona and Katy Perry, both of whom will issue albums on March 27th, Dawn Richard will join the fray with her long awaited ‘GoldenHeart’ LP.
Dawn Richard previously shared a sneak peek of her Ev Solomon-directed video for ‘SMFU (Save Me From U)’ last week and now the full visual has been released. ‘SMFU’ is the first single from the singer’s debut solo album, ‘Goldenheart’, which will arrive in stores later this year.
Almost exactly two months since the release of her new single, ‘SMFU (Save Me From U)’, Dawn Richard has debuted a special trailer for the song’s accompanying video. The Ev Salomon-directed production is expected to premiere on January 5th via BET’s ’106 & Park’.
Dawn Richard gave her fans a glimpse of the musical direction of her upcoming solo debut with this new song entitled ‘SMFU (Save Me From You)’. Produced by Druski, the record will appear on Dawn’s ‘GoldenHeart’ concept album.
The MTV VMA isn’t the only major event taking place this weekend. The 11th annual BMI Urban Awards were held last evening at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood and attracted some of the industry’s brightest young stars such as Christina Milian, Dawn Richard, Drake and many others.
