The cogs of Estelle’s promotional campaign for her upcoming ‘All of Me’ album are slowly being set into motion. As such, the singer/rapper has filmed a video for the latest release from the project – a song entitled ‘Thank You’ - and provided her fans with a behind the scenes glimpse of the production.
Estelle released her ‘Break Me Heart (Ft. Rick Ross)’ single since May 2011 so many people have forgotten that the song was recorded for an actual album. However, the singer/rapper unveiled the cover of her new LP, ‘All of Me’, earlier today as a subtle reminder that the record is indeed on the way.
BET’s annual Black Girls Rock event was hosted since October 15th but the ceremony only aired last evening. The show included stunning performances from Mary J. Blige, Melanie Fiona, Jill Scott and several others who joined their voices to celebrate the achievements of black women.
Estelle had the honor of performing with music royalty last night when she hit the stage with Chubby Checker on ‘Dancing with the Stars’. The duo dazzled the excited crowd with a rendition of Checker’s iconic hit ‘The Twist’, which is the most successful song in the history of the Billboard Hot 100.
The UNCF ‘An Evening of Stars’ aired this weekend on BET. The momentous event included performances from Patti Labelle, Jill Scott, Miguel and several others who wowed the audience with their vocal showings.
