Miguel has been busy recording his new album in London but before her finalises the record, he will issue a series of EPs. The first release of the bunch is ‘Art Dealer Chic, Vol. 1′, which will be issued on February 27th with the inclusion of a new song called ‘Adorn’.
Miguel learned a difficult lesson about the politics of the music industry last evening when he didn’t receive a single mention on the list of the 2012 Grammy Awards nominations. However, the R&B singer wasn’t shy about sharing his feelings about the snub and took to Twitter to discuss the incident.
The UNCF ‘An Evening of Stars’ aired this weekend on BET. The momentous event included performances from Patti Labelle, Jill Scott, Miguel and several others who wowed the audience with their vocal showings.

However, the singer/songwriter is ready to try again with a new socially conscious record scheduled for release by April next year.
Miguel released the video for ‘Quickie’ just moments ago. The latest single from his ‘All I Want Is You’ album, the song has already climbed to #17 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

The Essence Music Festival started off with a bang yesterday as some of music’s brightest stars performed their biggest hits. Held at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans, the event included showings from Usher, Fantasia, Jennifer Hudson and several others.
Chris Brown beamed at Jive’s official post BET Awards party at the Voyeur in West Hollywood last evening. Other artists in attendance included rapper J. Cole, Miguel, Diddy and Kalenna.
