Despite the fact that she has been posing naked in most of her recent promotional photos, topless on the cover of VIBE and even sang an entire song about the topic, Kelly Rowland claims that she is “not trying to sell sex”. The singer lashed out at her critics in the NY Daily News, insisting that she is just being herself.
Read what she had to say below:
“I’m not trying to sell sex,” she told the Daily News at her album release party at the Standard Hotel in the Meatpacking District Tuesday night.
“I’m just completely being myself. I don’t let nobody dictate who I am. I did that for way too long that I don’t care about those people no more. I really don’t.”

Whether Rowland is selling sex is debatable but one thing is certain: she certainly isn’t trying to sell more copies of her ‘Here I Am’ album. Nope.
