Throughout her short career Lady GaGa has been compared both positively and unfavourably to many of Pop music’s most prominent figures. Although she has been commended by several critics for her refreshing brand of musicianship and visual artistry, many have accused GaGa of simply copying the works of acts such as Madonna, Grace Jones and Elton John.
