I just gave security the go ahead to let Rita Ora back onto The Lava Lizard premises and she thanks me by wasting 93 seconds of my life on her new video for “Facemelt”. Utterly pointless, the supposedly “edgy” clip features the Tumblr model jumping around in an empty room that we can only assume [...]
Months ago, I proclaimed that Rita Ora had been banished from The Lava Lizard until she put forward a product worth discussing. That meant that her lacklustre live performances and public appearances would be ignored. Now, the singer has released something a bit more interesting – a preview of her new “Facemelt” video.
That does it. “Hey, it’s the holiday season and I bet it will be a very cute idea to cover Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas is You”! After all, it’s a very simple song, right?” Rita Ora imagined before performing the song on Germany’s The Dome and later realising that she have just stuck to singing [...]
