Shortly after Chris Brown opened the 2013 BET Awards with his Nicki Minaj-assisted set, Robin Thicke was up next with a hit song of his own. Joined by T.I. and Pharrell, the crooner belted a rousing rendition of his global multiformat smash, “Blurred Lines”.
Robin Thicke mixed Funk with R&B on his biggest hit ever, “Blurred Lines (Ft. Pharrell & T.I.)”, but for his latest release, he has taken a completely different approach. The bass-heavy Dance cut “Give it 2 U” was produced by Dr. Luke and features rapper Kendrick Lamar for a special Hip-Hop twist.
With his song “Blurred Lines” currently resting comfortably atop the Billboard Hot 100, Robin Thicke is definitely the man of the moment. So, to celebrate his success, the singer-songwriter starred in the latest edition of Interscope Presents and performed the tune along with several of his other hits at the headquarters of YouTube.
