The 2013 Billboard Music Awards show was generally uneventful but a legend brought the crowd to life at the very last moment. Prince emerged from the shadows to accept this year’s Icon Award from Janelle Monae and Erykah Badu, and reminded the world of his legendary status.
Now that the 2013 Billboard Music Awards ceremony has come to an end, it’s time to clear the dust and observe the damage. By that, I’m referring to the complete list of winners from this year’s event, which was dominated by young Pop stars from Justin Bieber to Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj.
The only think Nicki Minaj does worse than singing is dancing and she proved that at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards. The parttime rapper included some strange choreography into her performance of “High School” with Lil Wayne this evening that left many viewers of the show confused.
