NBC’s ‘Real Music Live’ kicked off last evening with performances by two generations of R&B greatness. Both newcomer Luke James and veteran Faith Evans were on hand to deliver renditions of their latest singles, and introduce themselves to the audience of the new show.
Faith Evans released the audio of her new song, ‘Tears Of Joy’, a while back. However, the songstress has now decided to accompany the lead ‘R&B Divas’ album single with a video, just as the LP has arrived in stores this week.
Faith Evans will release her ‘R&B Divas’ album tomorrow (October 2nd) and among the songs featured on the set’s track list is a new collaboration with Fantasia and Kelly Price. However, this isn’t a completely new record. Rather, it’s a cover of Cyndi Lauper’s ‘True Colors’.
Yesterday, we received the album cover and track list of Faith Evans’ ‘R&B Divas’ set and today a preview of the record has been issued. Featuring appearances by Fantasia, Monifah, Syleena Johnson, Keke Wyatt and others, the record will be released on October 2nd.
October 2nd is merely weeks away so it’s no surprise that Faith Evans has released the official cover and track list of her ‘R&B Divas’ set. The record, which benefits the Whitney E. Houston Academy of Creative & Performing Arts, features appearances by a range of acts, such as Fantasia, Kelly Price and Keke Wyatt.
Faith Evans is the only real diva on the ‘R&B Divas’ show so it’s only fitting that she nabs all the slots from the corresponding compilation album. The latest offering from the set is the bubbly and catchy ‘Dumb’, which features the singer bouncing over an infectious beat.
It’s been a while since we’ve heard new music from Faith Evans but the soulful songstress has released a new song entitled ‘Tears Of Joy’. The record is set to appear on a compilation album called ‘R&B Divas’, which has been slated to be released on October 2nd via eOne Music.
