Monica has unveiled the cover of her new single, ‘Without You’. The song is the second official single from her slow-selling ‘New Life’ album, following ‘It All Belongs to Me (Ft. Brandy)’, which failed to chart on the Billboard Hot 100.
When Monica’s ‘New Life‘ debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 this week with only 69K copies sold, many people assumed that it was just another indicated of the decline prominence of R&B music. Well, the singer has agreed with her fans’ assessment of the situation but offered a peculiar view regarding the matter.
It looks like Nicki Minaj’s chances of matching the success of her ‘Pink Friday’ debut album with ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ have dropped drastically. Indeed, along with the probability of the latter record being having such a major impact, the sales of LP have also took a tumble.

‘It All Belongs To Me’ is a a dull song but at least Brandy and Monica sound fantastic while singing it. The duo visited ‘Good Morning America’ this morning to perform the tune and thrilled the audience with a slightly rearranged version of the tune.
