The 2012 Billboard Music Awards ceremony is merely two days away and performers are still being announced for the blockbuster show. The latest name added to the list is Alicia Keys, who will honor the legendary Stevie Wonder with the prestigious Billboard Icon Award.
As reported earlier today, Kelly Rowland attended the Keep Memory Alive foundation’s Power of Love Gala last evening to celebrate Muhammad Ali’s 70th birthday. During the annual event, the singer saluted one of her fallen idols, Whitney Houston, by covering the diva’s version of ‘The Greatest Love of All’ alongside Stevie Wonder.
The funeral proceedings of the legendary Whitney Houston are currently in progress and those of you who aren’t able to view the proceedings on television to watch the entire event online. Held at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, the ceremony will include selections by Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder, Kim Burrell and several others.
