Beyonce Nabs 4th #1 Album With ’4′
She did again! Beyonce’s winning streak is now 4 for 4 as her ’4′ album vaults into the top spot on the Billboard 200 and exceeds all sales projections.
The LP enters the chart this week with 313,420 copies sold, giving the singer her 4th consecutive #1 album. However, these numbers represent a startling decline from the opening figures of her last release, ‘I Am Sasha Fierce’, which entered the tally with 482k sold.
Moreover, this marks the lowest 1st week sales of any of Beyonce’s solo efforts, selling even less than the 317k of her debut album, ‘Dangerously In Love’. On the contrary, ’4′ has received the best reviews of any of her releases, scoring an impressive 73 from 29 critics on Metacritic.

She barely promoted the album in the U.S. and she doesn’t have a hit single from this album yet, it leaked 3 weeks before its release, but she still managed to sell over 300,000! Anywho, I actually had a dream a long time ago that Bey released an album without releasing any singles prior to it, and still went to number one. This is kinda similar, no? The singles were severely disappointing, yet she still managed to outsell most of her counterparts. I’m so proud of her, and the album is amazing. I think people who are saying it’s boring are people who are probably used to music that sounds like it was recorded in a video arcade. 4 is a mature CD. Deal.

I think the fact that she sold this much with no hit single in sight, a leaked album almost a month in advance, little to no promo in the US, and all signs pointing to a dismal first week is to be commended. While this is her lowest opening, it’s still surpasses quite a few others.

Have you ever considered about including a little
bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is fundamental and everything.
However imagine if you added some great pictures or video clips to
give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with pics and video clips,
this site could undeniably be one of the best in its field.

With havin so much content do you ever run into any problems of
plagorism or copyright violation? My blog has a lot of completely unique content I’ve either written myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my agreement.
