This was a good album but everything about it screams Mariah clone! Just compare this cover to Mariah’s debut album cover! That’s the only reason people like it
And where is she now? In flopville! Just another victim of QUEEN RIHANNA!
@RihBaby You’re going to have to eat your words when Leona’s new music comes out. It’s not what you will expect.
She aint in flopville, she’s the most influential woman in london. Atleast she sells music not her body like Queen rihanna does. OOps sorry how can we compare trashy chart topper queen rihanna with humble, cool and vocal powerhouse Leona Lewis. THE Leona Lewis.. well something you riri fans don’t know except to listening to porn actresses in music industry
Love me some Leona. Her last album underperformed but it had alot of hits. Her vocals where really good on that album too. I preferred her second album to her first.
Looking forward to some new music this year.
Really looking forward to her new album. She said its going to be dark pop with uptempos and sad songs, unlike her last album. Someone who heard the lead single said her vocals are amazing on it so I definitely cannot wait.
She’s been working with nearly every producer this time and hopefully they’ll get things right and stay away from songs like Happy. It had amazing lyrics but just wasn’t radio friendly.
If she is trying to be dark pop with uptempos and sad songs, that sounds like what Lady Gaga is doing and that’s probably not the best arena for her talented vocals. I think she needs more American influenced writing and production, not a different a whole new sound. The British synth production does not translate well to American ears.
