Did you know that Mary J. Blige’s first 8 studio albums were all certified platinum or higher in the US?
The first 8 of the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul’s studio LPs were all certified at least platinum by RIAA. 5 of those records reached triple platinum status, 1 went double platinum and 2 peaked at platinum. The only album that did not go platinum was Blige’s most recent release, ‘Stronger With Each Tear’, which only went gold.
