Last month it was announced that BET had plans to honor Aaliyah. Now it has been revealed that the network will air the tribute special on the 10th anniversary of her death, August 25th.

‘Aaliyah: One In A Million’ will air on the network at 8pm ET on August 25th. The show will feature guest appearances from several of the singer’s friends, including Missy Elliott, Timbaland, Patti Labelle and Kelly Rowland, as they celebrate her life, music and impact on the industry.
