Did you know that Whitney Houston is the only female artist to have 3 albums spend a minimum of 10 weeks at #1 on the Billboard 200?
The singer’s ‘Whitney’, ‘Whitney Houston’ and ‘The Bodyguard: Original Soundtrack Album’ spent 11, 14 and 20 weeks at the top spot, respectively. Houston remains the only female to have multiple albums hold the peak position for 10 weeks or more.

Legend indeed! Her records are vast and meaningful! Actually, it wasn’t her drug use that slowed down her output in the 90s, she said she just wanted a normal life and wanted things to slow down as they were moving too fast and she couldn’t live.
If she had exercised her rights and done 51% of Waiting to exhale soundtrack she would be about tied with mariah for best selling US sales and ahead of her wwide,
She was suppose to do the entire Exhale soundtrack but she didnt want to, thats my one issue with Whitney in the 27 years she has been out she only recorded 9 cd’s but its amazing that she is still amongst the top sellers with the least amount of cd’s
