Did you know that Mariah Carey’s highest selling album, ‘Music Box’, was released exactly 18 years ago as of today?

The LP debuted in stores on August 31st in 1993 and eventually became Carey’s first diamond album in the US. ‘Music Box’ remains the icon’s most successful release in the UK and the top-selling non-soundtrack R&B album by a female artist with sales exceeding 32 million copies worldwide.

   This album is vocally perfect. Dare to any damn singer today to sing like Mariah did on Anytime you need a friend for example — just after the first chorus they will end up breathless… the lessors could never!!!!
