Teairra Mari Signs New Record Deal

Is Teairra Mari finally ready to get serious about her music career? That may be the case as the reigning Queen of World Star Hip-Hop has announced a new record deal with Rico Love’s Division1 imprint under the Universal Motown umbrella.

Peep the duo breaking the news while on the set of their new video, ‘That’s All Me‘:

 

Hopefully, Mari will use this opportunity to craft a proper studio album instead of more mixtapes entailing a collection of Drake covers. She is quite talented and has the right voice, look and moves to make an impact if given the right material and direction.

Besides, with Kelly Rowland barely making an impact on the Billboard charts and soon heading to a bargain bin at a 99 cents near you, Universal Motown definitely need another main attraction. Indeed, it is only so long that Rowland’s nipples and Aubrey O’Day’s mighty morphing face can keep people interested.

We have our eyes on you Mari.

   I hope she releases better music and has better marketing tools. I dont wanna hear a sex album like her mixtapes. Furthermore, as R&B is coming back, she should be more experimental with it.
