Mya enlisted Paul Hunter to create one of the best videos of her career in 2003 and this week’s Way Back Wednesday feature. ‘My Love Is Like…Wo’ was produced by Missy Elliott and released as the lead single from her critically acclaimed ‘Moodring’ album.

It is baffling to think that some people have either forgotten or never knew how talented Mya is as a performer. She is probably the best female dancer in the game today and has the type of versatility and skill to combat even Janet Jackson and Paula Abdul.

Musically, Mya has also put forward several solid records such as ‘Moodring’ and ‘Fear of Flying’, which were among the strongest releases of their respective years. Unfortunately for Mya, her music career was sidetracked by her acting pursuits and her ‘K.I.S.S.’ suggests that she has lost touch with current trends. Hopefully, she will rebound and regain her place at the top.
