J. Cole’s highly anticipated  ‘Cole World: The Sideline Story’ album will arrive in stores tomorrow and to continue the moment of his promotional campaign, he has announced the record’s next single. Interestingly, the rapper has revealed that ‘Nobody’s Perfect (Ft. Missy Elliott)’ will be the project’s next release.

The song follows the singles ‘Can’t Get Enough (Ft. Trey Songz)’ and ‘Work Out’, both of which peaked in the top 20 of the Billboard Hot Rap Songs chart. Watch J. Cole break the news below where he confirmed that the sound of the track was indeed inspired by Aaliyah:

This is not a surprise. Surely, the buzz of Elliott’s appearance on the track will help build public interest in J. Cole’s album. Furthermore, it will generate buzz for Elliott’s impending comeback hence, it is beneficial to both acts.
