Leona Lewis Soars With First ‘Collide’ Performance

Leona Lewis unleashed her pristine vocals with the first televised performance of ‘Collide’ on the popular UK game show ‘Red or Black?’ earlier today. The song is the lead single from her ‘Glassheart’ album, which will debut on November 28th.

Although many people might have hoped for more excitement from Lewis’ showing, it is important to note that there is very little that can be done with this song in a live setting. Besides, she sounded flawless, which is a lot more than can be said about Cassie.

That was boring.
Leona always has and always will be BORING.. on top of that her voice is not as stellar as some make it out to be.
The choruses and the second “you are the one” bit were AMAZING. Her mic sounded low or something during the verses, which I noticed she’s had that problem on the X-Factor a couple times before and this was a Simon produced show so Simon should invest in a better soundstage or something. lol
The only thing I didn’t like was the blue pants. They look too grandma-ish. She should’ve wore a red outfit to go with the hearts, etc. She herself looked really young though, much younger than she was looking during her Echo era.
And when it comes to dancing, there’s not much you can do with a song like that. It’s fine for back-up dancers but it requires big vocals from the singer and dancing would mess that up for the most part. At least she was moving though. That’s already an improvement from half of the other big names out there. lol
And those saying she was boring here, she was more exciting and more alive than Rihanna, Katy, etc are when they hit the stage. And Leona’s mainly just a vocalist doing that.
