Did you know that Whitney Houston’s monster hit ‘Greatest Love of All’ is actually a cover?
The tune, which was written by Michael Masser and Linda Creed, was originally recorded by George Benson in 1977. However, Houston covered the song for her self-titled debut album and it became an instant hit by peaking at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 on May 17th 1986, just 2 months after being released.

Yes bitch a legend here
Yes I knew but did you know that she sang that song in the ‘sweetwater’ club that she and her mom sung in before she got a record deal and Clive Davis heard her sing GLOA there?
It’s also a #1 song for her and also known as one of her many signature songs.
Trent, one day do a music minute on all the cover songs that whitney has done and how many she has redefined and made hits.
Many would be surprised.
