The 2011 American Music Awards nominations have been announced! The show will air live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on November 20th at 8pm ET.

Dominating the list of nominees this year is Adele with 4 nominations for Artist of the Year, Favourite Female Artist (Pop/Rock), Favourite Artist (Adult Contemporary) and Favourite Album (Pop/Rock). Other artists who garnered multiple nominations included Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Taylor Swift and The Band Perry, who all scored 3 nominations each.
